cheryl culwellSubject: how to save to xml format
Author: cheryl culwell

I have created a 'view' in sql 2008 and have connected stylus to the DB and performed the selection of data, then mapped the selected data to the schema with the xquery mapper. However, my question is this, when I preview the data and try to save it, it has <a: in front of all the xml tags. How can I prevent this, also how can I modify to add more information required in the schema?

You target schema makes use of a namespace, therefore the elements have been bound to such namespace.

Removing the prefix will make the output XML invalid according to the schema.

Hope this helps
Ivan
