In an xquery map, how can i convert a date in timestamp format ( 2011-01-28T23:05:29.997 ) to a regular date format ( 2011-01-28 )?

If you are running Stylus Studio 2010 or greater have a look at ddtek:format-date, it is well documented in the DataDirect XQuery
user's guide
