Brent BatesSubject: XQuery

I have created a mapping query that pulls data from an Excel and formats the information into a specific XML format that is needed to upload the data to a database program. The Excel file is in a line item format where each line contains all of the transaction information and each transaction can have 1 to x number of items. The items for a single transaction are listed together.

What I am now trying to do is to make each transaction a parent and include each item of the transaction as an 'item' child element of the transaction. I am having trouble with the program language I need to use in order to have the xquery look to see if the next line item should be included as a child in the previous transaction (different line same transaction number).

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
