Ian Subject: Feature Request - Better Control Of Spellchecking
Author: Ian
Date: 19 Dec 2010 09:08 AM
Another useful feature for me would be the ability to ignore the content of XML attributes when doing spell checking. Some of my XML documents contain private content - as in never to be published - that is in the form of index codes to content in this or other documents. These are generated by another application and cannot be excluded from spell checking via the available options - they can be excluded but only at the cost of excluding other valid content.

Ideally this configuration should be at document level but that would mean storing this information somewhere. Therefore a spell-checking toolbar with a toggle icon to turn spell checking of attribute content on and off might be a possible solution. I guess that if you can do this for attribute content then someone might also want it for element content?

Regards.
