you youSubject: [HELP] Template and namespace
Author: you you
Date: 20 Jul 2010 03:59 AM
Hi

I need to specify a namespace in my template output:

the template create a structure like:
<elm1></elm1>
<elm2></elm2>
...

What I need is:
<ns:elm1 xmlns: ns="MyNamespace"></ns:elm1>
<ns:elm2 xmlns: ns="MyNamespace"></ns:elm2>
...

my template is useable by many xsl, and everyone specifies a different namespace. This not allows me to write in the template a specific namespace.

I tried to use the namespace as a parameter of the template, but I couldn’t call it, what i mean is that i couldn't use it.

I tried this syntaxe but it is not correcte.

<xsl:param name="namespace"/>
....
<toto:elm1 xmlns:toto="{$namespace}" >
<xsl:value-of select="$elm1"/>
</toto:elm1>

I use xalan processor.
