I am using the XML Schema Documentation tool. I would like to add my own comments to the elements but I don't see a way to do it. Is there a way to add my own text?

Thanks in advance.

I see now how to add an annotation. However, when I generate the HTML document it does not show the text I entered in the annotation. Is there a way to do this?

Hi Jerry,

You will need to use xhtml to markup your text, here an example.
Does it help?

<?xml version="1.0"?>
<xsd:schema xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema"
xmlns:xhtml="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">
<xsd:element name="root">
<xsd:annotation>
<xsd:documentation>
<xhtml:b><xhtml:i>Bold and Italic</xhtml:i></xhtml:b>
</xsd:documentation>
</xsd:annotation>
</xsd:element>
</xsd:schema>
