hey plz help me out to read an text file in xml. And inturn php will read this xml file at server side and gives xml format page to the client.
i just need to know how the files are read in xml

XSLT 1.0 doesn't natively supports reading non-XML files; XSLT 2.0 has the unparsed-text function.
