(Deleted User) Subject: How to escape ampersand in xquery?
Author: (Deleted User)

Good morning to you all,

I have an xquery with a lot of if then else constructions where I occassionally need to escape the ampersand characters. In the comparison I want to test the string "G&MWTSCH" which I tried to test with:

else
if($PERSONEN/VAKGEBCD = "Gx#38;#38;MWTSCH") then <Item code="D13501"/>
else

but it is not working. Can you give me a hint?

Thanks,

Cynthia

"&amp;" is what you want.
