Hi,

I need to sort the elements neither ascending order not descending order. I want to sort them in different way.

I have the data like this.

<Stores>
<store name="AE" location="TX"/>
<store name="Hollister" location="LA"/>
<store name="Tommy" location="NY"/>
<store name="Lee" location="WA"/>
</Stores>

I want the result like this

Lee
Tommy
AE
Hollister

Can any one suggest me how to solve this ?

Thanks,

You could use XSLT and XPATH to select the elements one at a time and output them. Other than that there seems to be no way to sort the elements in the order that you want

Sorry, what is your criteria for sorting? Is there any difference between your result and

Hollister
Tommy
Lee
AE

?
