Ionel NitaSubject: xsl fo block-container and footer
Author: Ionel Nita

Hi,

I face some problems when using block-container.

First, when using block-container tag inside a 'xsl-region-body' flow, the output won't have more than one page. I understood that block-container does not allow multiple pages, when used inside the body flow. Is this information correct? I'm using fop 0.20.5. Was this issue solved in a later version? How can I find a solution to this?

Secondly, I would like to have the region-after displayed only on a last page, when there are multiple pages, but, maybe because of the version (0.20.5) I get that the 'last-page' option in simple-page-master is not yet defined (NYI). Is there a way to avoid this problem, to get to the behaviour I want?

Thank you very much!

You may want to ask this question to a list specialized in XSL-FO support, or to the Apache FOP group itself.
