chelsea drennanSubject: Comparing 2 passed Date Values
Author: chelsea drennan

Hi,

I am trying to do something that seems fairly simple, but I am unable to wrap my head around the concept in my post-holiday state.

I want to compare two date values that are passed into the XSL. If the dates are the same, I don't want to display anything in the field, but if the values are different, I will pass in the 2nd date value.

Thanks for your help,
Chelsea

Hi Chelsea,
if you are using XSLT 2.0, you can just compare the two variables using the '=' operator. If you are using XSLT 1.0, you will have to dig in libraries like FUNCTX (http://www.xsltfunctions.com/xsl/c0002.html) for some support.
