Kindly help!!!

I am in a situation where I have to develop a news website,I want to put class="blocked" to first 3 items rest whould be with no class .
this is the xsl code i am using right now but i am getting an error
"Variable or parameter 'numLink' cannot be defined twice within the same template. "

this is the news feed http://rss.news.yahoo.com/rss/topstories

Hi web not,
your XSLT has been written as if XSLT were a procedural language like C or Java; but in XSLT variables are not re-assignable, and its value must be computed using node sets.

For instance, you could replace the

<xsl:value-of select="$numLink"/>

with a call to

<xsl:value-of select="count(//*[local-name()='item'])"/>

Also, you might investigate the position() function,
and xsl:number.
