Bob HoganSubject: non-printing characters in File menu
Author: Bob Hogan

I have SS 2008 Enterprise r2 installed. It has been working fine until the other day when the File menu became corrupted and displayed non-printing characters (see attached image). I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling but get the same result. This occured around the time of the Windows XP sp3 upgrade. Any ideas how to fix this?

Hi Bob,
this is the first time that we heard something like this; can you try uninstalling Stylus and reinstalling it now that SP3 is already there?

Thanks,
Alberto

Alberto,

Thanks for the reply. I ran a Windows update this evening and lo and behold the problem has gone away. Don't you just love Microsoft. Problem solved until they screw it up again.

Bob
