Victor CompiSubject: Help with Result of "Create Schema from XML Content..." Function
Author: Victor Compi

First, I'm a total hack in the XML domain, but anyway, I used the create schema from xml content feature to generate a schema for an xml doc.

One particular node usually looks like this:

<author-id type="integer">1234</author-id>

But I have one instance where it looks like this:

<author-id type="integer" nil="true"/>

The generated schema looks like this:

<xs:element name="author-id">
<xs:complexType mixed="true">
<xs:attribute name="nil" type="xs:boolean"/>
<xs:attribute name="type" use="required" type="xs:NCName"/>
</xs:complexType>
</xs:element>

But this seems to fail when I try to get the content of the node. I'm guessing that the schema isn't quite right since I don't see any reference to integer.

Can anyone suggest how to fix the schema?

Thanks,

Vic

Have you tried using the XML Schema editor to adjust the attributes?

Which version of Stylus Studio are you using?
