steven nourseSubject: xml to edi segment count quest

I am converting a xml file to edi 837. At the very bottom of the edi it needs to know how many sements are in the message. Do you have any recomendations on how to do this.

In redix there is a function called totalseg() that includes this information but I am not sure how I can accomplish this in stylus studio.

It is the SE01-NumberOfIncludeSegments fields in 04010 - 837 schema

You don't need to worry about that; if the element is empty (<SE/>) or if SE01 is missing in the XML document, XML Converters will just plug the right value in.
