When starting Stylus (struzzo) a message appears that indicates that there is a config error and the install needs to be done again. After installing again, then starting Stylus, the same message appears, there is a config error, you need to install Stylus Studio again. Installing under XP professional on a Lenovo thinkpad.
Is this the windows registry issue or some other issue? Need advice on how to get this to install correctly.... see reply for details on msgs.

I would be inclined to think you are experiencing the problem described here: http://www.stylusstudio.com/ssdn/default.asp?action=9&read=3762&fid=47

But it would help more knowin exactly what you see when you start up the application; can you provide screenshots of the messages you see?

Then when starting Struzzo a dialog box comes up:

C:\Program Files\Stylus Studio 2008 XML Enterprise Suite\bin\Struzzo.exe

This application has failed to start because the application configuration is incorrect. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem.

Then after reinstalling the same dialog error box comes up.

Apparently the Microsoft Visual C++ redistributable package is failing to install for some reason. Can you try downloading it from here and installing it manually?

If vcredist_x86.exe installs properly, Stylus Studio should start up as expected.
