DL BirchSubject: Dcument Wizard XSLT Editor Tab not showing in Enterprise Edition 2008
Author: DL Birch
Date: 03 May 2008 10:50 AM
Hello,
Following the 'Getting Started' guide. Chapter 1, Making a Static Web Page Dynamic by Editing XSLT ....

Directions state:
"To import an HTML file:
In the Stylus Studio menu bar, click File > Document Wizards.
Click the XSLT Editor tab. "

I'm running Enterprise Suite, Build 1050g.

No XSLT Editor tab appears in the Document Wizards dialog box ....

What can I do?

Regards,

Douglas Birch

Hi Douglas,
the 'HTML to XSLT' wizard has been retired in a previous version of Stylus and it's no more referenced in the current documentation set (see http://www.stylusstudio.com/docs/v2008R2). If you need to build an XSLT stylesheet that produces an existing web page, use the HTML to XML wizard (from the XMLEditor tab) and paste its content in the main template of a new XSLT stylesheet.

It looks like Stylus 2008 is somehow pointing to an old documentation package; we'll investigate and fix this issue.

Thanks,
Alberto
