Andrew MaceySubject: Saxon9 "java.net.ConnectException: Connection timed out: connect" XSLT on SVG file
Author: Andrew Macey

I have a Graphviz generated SVG image to beautify using XSLT as per http://www.hokstad.com/making-graphviz-output-pretty-with-xsl.html

When I call the XSLT using Saxon9, I get:
C:\>type foo.DOT.txt | "C:\Program Files\ATT\Graphviz\bin\dot.exe" -Tsvg -o foo.svg

C:\>java.exe -jar C:\saxon9.jar -s:C:\foo.svg -xsl:C:\notugly.xsl -o:C:\foo-notugly.svg
Warning: at xsl:stylesheet on line 3 of file:/C:/notugly.xsl:
Running an XSLT 1.0 stylesheet with an XSLT 2.0 processor
Error
java.net.ConnectException: Connection timed out: connect
Transformation failed: Run-time errors were reported

The input SVG displays fine for me. I tried each of the HTTP URL/URIs in the SVG and XSLT and was able to reach them. I can do plenty of other XSLT processing uning Saxon9, so the installation seems to be ok. Any ideas what's going on and how to fix it?

This doesn't appear to involve Stylus Studio; have you tried
asking on the saxon-help list over at SourceForge?
