Jon ShulerSubject: hide output window
Author: Jon Shuler

I have dual monitors and have the editor in one window and the output window in the other. If I close the output window but click on a tab in the editor to change windows the output window automatically re-opens.

I only want the output window to re-open if I preview results.

Thanks,
Jon

Hi Jon,
which editor (XML, XSLT, XQuery) is open when you click on the tabs? (btw, are you referring to the tabs that let you switch to a different document or to the tabs that change the view of the current document?)

Are you sure you mean the "Output window" (used to display messages produced by an external processor) instead of "Preview window" (used to display the result of a transformation)?

Thanks,
Alberto

Yes I did mean the preview window. I have the XML and XSLT editors open and I am clicking the tabs to change the current document.

Jon
