Helen van PlatenSubject: Converting Text file to XML
Author: Helen van Platen

I am new to XML. I have a text file that I need to convert to XML. I have managed to convert the file. My problem is that the text file contains data without decimal points eg. 10050 should actually be reflected as 100.50 in the XML file. Is there a way to do this ?

Thank You

Yes.

Go to the Properties window, and change the datatype of
the converted data to Number, and then set the Scale
value. It can be set from -16 to 16, to move the
decimal point in either direction by that many places.
