Lourdes ChangSubject: No New Line

Hi,

What I'm trying to do is go through all the elements in a for loop, however, I want it to print out the element then a new line. But I would want the new line to also show up on the browser. Any ideas of what I'm doing wrong or how to fix it? Thanks!

<?xml version="1.0" ?>

<xsl:stylesheet version="1.0" xmlns:xsl="http://www.w3.org/1999/XSL/Transform">

<xsl:template match="channel">
<html>
<head>
<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="movies.css" />
<script src="movies.js" />
</head>
<body>
<fieldset>
<legend>Movies Times</legend>
<xsl:apply-templates select="theater"/>

</fieldset>
</body>
</html>
</xsl:template>

<xsl:template match="theater">
<div>
<img class="pic" src="down_arrow.gif" onclick_="toggle(this.parentNode)" />
<xsl:value-of select="theaterName"/>
<br />

<xsl:value-of select="address"/>
<br />

tel:
<xsl:value-of select="tel"/>
</div>

<div class="notop">
<xsl:for-each select="movies">
<xsl:apply-templates/>
<xsl:text>&#10;</xsl:text>
</xsl:for-each>
</div>

</xsl:template>

</xsl:stylesheet>

A newline never shows in the browser. This is an HTML question. I think you should use a BR element (but I'm not an HTML expert).

Also I tend to recommend to use apply-templates and template rules instead of for-each.
