It would make my life a lot easier if column adjustments (position and width) made while in Grid View were remembered somehow. I'm not sure where and how this information should be persisted - possibly in the project file, or in processing instructions in the document itself.

I searched on this, and it appears that the last time something like it was requested was five years ago. The answer then was that your grid view technology didn't support it - has anything changed?
