Dennis BrothersSubject: BUG: Byte Order Mark inserted when it shouldn't be
Author: Dennis Brothers

If an XML document using single-byte encoding (e.g., ISO-8859-1) is being edited in Grid View, and is saved while still in grid view, an encoded Byte Order Mark ( ) is inserted at the beginning of the document. It's a little odd that it's encoded, but it just plain shouldn't be there in the first place.

I have to switch to text view to edit it out, thereby losing any column rearrangement I've done in grid view. Really annoying and a major productivity-killer.
