Kurt WaldSubject: right click conditional link if content
Author: Kurt Wald
Date: 22 Oct 2007 08:06 AM
I already have requested this years ago. But again:

It would be very helpful to have a feature added to the right click link dropdown (repeating link .., etc.) in the mapper, which creates a conditional link based on the c o n t e n t of the source element.

Example output (source element ABC, target element XYZ):

<xsl:if test="ABC/text()">
<XYZ><xsl:value-of select="ABC"/></XYZ>

The reason for this request is that most B2B or EDI oriented target applications do not like empty elements.
