Naveen DRSubject: Retain input values
Author: Naveen DR

Hi,

I have defined UI fields in a XML file. I am using XSL to transform it into HTML page. The problem is once user enters value in a text field and submits the page, the same value cannot be displayed back after the request is processed.

When submit button is clicked, i am saving values in a java bean which is available in session. In XSL, how do i access this bean to get the value?

I tried using <xsl:text><c:out value="${sessionBean.data.value}"/></xsl:text>

It didn't recognize c:out and gave error while transforming.

Hi Naveen,
it's up to the XSLT engine used by your (unnamed) EJB software to state how parameters can be used inside the stylesheet; this support forum is for users of the Stylus Studio IDE.
