I am trying to use Stylus Studio to generate a PDF file from XML. I created an xml report. The report has some tables in it. On these tables I set borders = 0 to get rid of the lines. If I preview the report, it looks fine. However, after I generate the XSL-FO document from it and preview that object, then the tables have borders.

Hi Michael,
I created a new report, and set the Width property of both Table Borders and Cell Borders to 0, I get a table with no borders in both XSL and PDF.
Could you attach the report you are trying to design?

Here is a sample.
Here is the steps I am taking to recreate the issue.
I create a new report.
Add a data source
Insert a table with two columns
insert value from xml into table
select table and change border to 0
If I preview report here then it has no borders.
I select the generate button
Change the document type to xsl-fo.
Then I run preview and it opens adobe and shows the table with borders.

Actually if I use yours it still has the table borders set to 2.
In any case, I can't find a place to change the borders for the cells. If I click on the cell tab in the property window, the only option is "background". I included a screen shot from my report.

Hi Michael,
which version of Stylus are you using? If you are not using the latest version, it could be that the setting for the cell border was not exposed.
