(Deleted User) Subject: Refactoring in XSLT 2.0
Author: (Deleted User)

Now that XSLT supports functions it would be really good if the type of eclipse refactoring tools were available in the xslt editor.

For example you can 'Create Template from selection'. It would be good to 'Create Function from selection' that prompted you for suitable parameters and made sure the context was alteredinside xpath statements correctly. I realise this is complex but it would make writing xslt 2.0 much more straight forward. It would also make the refactoring much easier which is one of the major pluses of an IDE like eclipse with Java.

You are right; refactoring would help a lot. But it is much more likely that you will see Stylus Studio offer refactoring based on XQuery rather than XSLT in the future.
