When working with an XSLT file in Studio 07 Professional build 894m, if there is a syntax error in the XSLT file & a preview is attempted, you are asked if you want to jump to the error. If you choose 'yes' and correct the error, you cannot rerun the preview or save the file because you get a message stating 'The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process'. Filemon shows Struzzo.exe is getting a sharing violation.

Any ideas?

Update to this. This behavior only occurs with the Saxon processor. If changed to .NET, it works fine.

I'm getting the same problem which is rendering the software useless.
I changed to .Net, Java etc.. nothing is working

please someone get back to me.

Also with XSLT processor set to 'Built-in' with URI resolver checked by default. I tried Java and .Net but still had this problem.

The IE6 icon in the preview section gets grayed out, so an XSLT preview is still running in the background therefore freezing the XSLT file thus no saving or editing is possible, in effect the XSLT becomes crippled.

After discussing offline with Sam we narrowed down on a defect in Saxon under Java 1.6, that erases only in particular conditions when the garbage collection leaves a stream object open.

The problem will be fixed in the upcoming Stylus Studio version.
