Hi,
I am trying to create a pdf file from a xml file. To write the reprt I have no problems but when I try to create a scenario to create pdf I get the following message:
" Unable to create anXMLReader. Check the system property org.xml.sax.driver and your classpath".

I have tried both Postprocess with RederX XEP and Postprocess with Apche FOP.

I feel a bit lost with this error message, where to look and what info should be there?

I am running Stylus Studio 2007 XML Enterprise Edition Relese 2 build 894m on a Win XP- Prof SP2

Hans,

We are not able to reproduce the problem.

Does the example catalog.xsl work for you?

c:\Program Files
\Stylus Studio 2007 XML Enterprise Suite Release 2
\examples
\XSLFormattingObjects
\catalog.xsl

Please verify in the scenario dialog -> Post-process that either FOP or XEP is set.

Thanks!

Are you saying that after configuring FOP in the example catalog.xsl you are getting the same error in the output window (click View -> Output Window)?

Could you send a screenshot of output window?

What do you see in the Stylus Studio project classpath (click Project -> Set Classpath...)?

Is there a folder called endorsed under your Java JRE?
(c:\Program Files\Java\jre1.6.0_01\lib\endorsed)
If yes what is inside?

Hope this helps

Here we might have something, I am running a Swedish version of WinXP and for some reason in the swedish edition all programs land in a folder c:\Program\... The answer to your question is that it does not exist any folder endorsed either in c:\Program\Java\jre1.6.0_01\lib\ or in c:\Program\Java\jre1.6.0_02\lib\

Hope this helps

Hilsen fra Hans
