chukuemeka ogbonnayaSubject: Copy-of and namespace Hell
Author: chukuemeka ogbonnaya

I am sure this topic has been treated at some point but I need some help with this particular problem. I am copying (copy-of)a nodeset of an xml doc which has no namespace into another with a namespace.
Is there a way i can force the copied nodeset to be included in the namespace scope of the entire xml doc?

my stylesheet;
<xsl:element name="message" namespace="http://www.myspace.co.uk">
<xsl:copy-of select="m_control"/>

Thanks Chuks

In XSLT 2.0, you might be able to use the
copy-namespaces? = "yes" | "no" attribute
See http://www.w3.org/TR/xslt20/#copy-of

But most likely, instead of copy-of you'll
need to use an identity transform. To keep
it from copying what you don't want, you
might need to restrict it with a mode.
