Prasad EdlabadkarSubject: XJC Problem
Author: Prasad Edlabadkar

I am using Generate Java Binding classes option for my XSD. The XSD is quite huge. Thus generates huge number of classes. But xjc fails to generate all complaining about stack overflow.

"Stack overflow. Either you are compiling a large schema that requires more resource, or XJC has a bug. First, please extend the stack size by using the -Xss JVM option. If this doesn't solve the problem, please use the -debug option to obtain the stack trace and contact Sun."

specifying -Xss JVM parameter does fix the problem (I actually run the same command run by Stylus studio from a command prompt with additional JVM parameter of -Xss32m.) But, Stylus studio does not have option to specify this parameter so that I can generate the Java classes from stylus studio and add them to my project.

Can you please help

Thanks and Regards

Did you try going to Tools|Options|JVM and adding the -Xss there?

Yes..I did. But it doesn't reflect in the command being executed.

Thanks

Hi Prasad,
the option should be added in the "Parameters" edit box in the "External JVM" group.

Hope this helps,
Alberto
