Søren PedersenSubject: Advanced XSLT test

Hi guys

I am trying to figure out if there is a preceding Question element, with a ProjectVariable text starting with $matchedGroupProjectVariable. If there is none, then I need to do something... so I tried these if tests:

<xsl:if test="not(preceding::Question[starts-with(/ProjectVariable,$matchedGroupProjectVariable)])">

<xsl:if test="not($questionElement/preceding::Question[starts-with(/ProjectVariable,$matchedGroupProjectVariable)])" >

$questionElement is the current Question node

But none of these work :(

Can someone help me with this please? :)

Thanks a lot in advance
Greetings
Søren Pedersen

DOH!

I found the error right after posting...

I just had to remove the / infront of the ProjectVariable, so the working if is:

<xsl:if test="not(preceding::Question[starts-with(ProjectVariable,$matchedGroupProjectVariable)])">
