Hi,
I just downloaded the trial version of stylus studio and was trying to load a xml schema ( source schema) for xml to xml mapping, but it throws a alert box saying schema is not valid, and when i do open it in a editor and try to validate is it give's
xml:2,1: FATAL ERROR: Invalid document structure
In the second line of my xml i have envelope declarations, is that what is causing it? i have a bit of the xml file i m dealing with pasted here below.
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
- <esb:Envelope xmlns:esb="http://www.abcde.com/esb">
- <esb:Header>
- <esb:PartyInfo>
We are currently reviewing multiple products to suit our xml to xml mapping needs, a prompt reply would be greatly appreciated :-)

Hi Rajat,
if that is the real content of the file, it has those spurious "- " that make it invalid. By chance, have you copied it from an Internet Explorer window?

thanks a ton albert for the prompt reply, yes i had copied it from a IE browser.It is showing no error now.I can now experiment with the mapping utility and generate the xquery code.This product is more inclined to our needs as previously tried products such as altova's mapforce fails with xcbl sox 3 schema type where as stylus studio just slides right in.I will get back to let you know how it goes/ if i run into troubled waters!! :-)
