Florent GeorgesSubject: What is the context node in the XPath Editor?
Author: Florent Georges

Hi

I looked in the help, Ch. 9 Writing XPath Expressions,
section Using the XPath Query Editor, how the context node
was set (and eventually how to set it if it ws possible).

Unfortunately I didn't find this info. Did I look
wrongly? Do someone know what is the context node of the
expression in the XPath Editor, and how to set it?

Regards,

Hi Florent,

In order to change the context you have to switch to the Tree view and select which node you would like to be the context.

Hope this helps

Thanks Ivan. That would maybe be worth being able to set the context node either from the Text, Tree or Grid views? And to be in the doc ;-) But at least there is a way, great!

Thank you for your response.
