Bill WrightSubject: export to documentation
Author: Bill Wright
Date: 02 Jul 2007 05:07 PM
I'm new to Stylus Studio, and the first task I have is to use the contents of a set of XSDs to produce stuff that can be read by mere mortals. For example, some of the xsd's have long enumeration lists that I need to export out to an excel spreadsheet or word table.
I cannot seem to find any export functions in Stylus Studio.
Any suggestions on how to accomplish this task?
thanks,
Bill Wright

Hi Bill,

Have you tried to work with the Documentation tab?

Hope this helps

Thanks for the reply. Yes, I have tried that but the output is not complete. At this point I think I just need to write a little parser that chunks the data out to a spreadsheet where I can manipulate it as needed. There are a number of utilities to get data from various forms into XML, but I'm not finding any utilities to go the other way (roundtrip).

Bill
