Chad ForresterSubject: Xerces parser missing from Stylus Studio 2007 Release 2?

A while back I downloaded a trial version of Stylus Studio. After finally getting approval from my company to purchase it I am noticing that the Xerces parser is possibly missing from the version that I currently have?

I don't remember what the version of the trial I had before, but I remember when validating a XML document against a Schema I had options for Xerces-C and Xerces-J. In my current version (2007 Release 2) I do not see those as options for validation. Are they missing/removed or am I missing something obvious (which is more likely the case)?

Thank you for your time.

-Chad

Hi Chad

Stylus Studio 2007 R2 let you use the Java built-in validator.

Starting from version 1.4 Java JRE bundles XercesJ

Hope this helps

So, just to be clear:
The internal validator for Stylus Studio is Xerces-C++
The "Java Built-in" validator is Xerces-Java

Thank you so much for the clarification. I really appreciate the quick response. This program is great (much better than Altova's XML Spy).
