Vasil RangelovSubject: Open XML files in IE, edit with Stylus Studio
Author: Vasil Rangelov

After I install Stulus Studio, IE stops showing XML files and only asks me if I want to open it (with Stylus Studio) or save it.

I tryed tweaking the associations in "Folder Options > File Types" by making the Open option be EXACTLY like the one on another computer without Stylus Studio, but the result is the same.

This applies on files in the file system, but doesn't seem to affect files on a server, not scince I tryed adjusting the associations at least (I don't remember before that).

How can I make IE open XML files from the file system?

Hi Vasil

Try to set "Open Width Stylus Studio" to false for .xml under
Tools -> Options -> General -> File Types

Hope this helps

Scince I tweaked the associations, this was already to false. Setting it to true and then back to false did the trick though. Thanks.
