I am looking for a way to take XML output from a web ordering system and convert it to a text file (CSV SDF Dbase etc) that I can then feed into an existing accounts program. There is plenty of help to convert from CSV to XML but not the other way.

Hi Brian,

Try the following:

- create a sample of the desired CSV output file.
- in the XML to XML mapping tool set as source schema your XML file and as target schema the CSV file (click "Convert to XML using Adapter")
- map fields from source to target
- set the output URL in the scenario dialog to the CSV file you would like to generate
