Kurt WaldSubject: suppress creation of empty target elements
Author: Kurt Wald
Date: 15 Jan 2007 10:42 AM
it would be helpfull to add something like "create conditional value link" to the context menu of a link established with the right mouse button pressed. This should create a:

<xsl:if test="source_element/text()">
<xsl:value-of select="source_element/text()"/>
</xsl:if>

construct, to avoid the creation of empty target elements. There is quite a number of business applications, which have difficulties with the import of xml structures containing empty elements.

This approach adds comfort compared to first establishing a graphical if and then a value link.
