There seems to be a problem with the Spell Check/Replace All function in our XML Editor, wonder if you can help.

When spell checking and replacing words using the Find Next/Replace to replace each occurence individually, the spell check works fine. However, when we use the Replace All function, the words are not replaced correctly.

Here's an example below of some text that is not being replaced correctly.

Original text:
<FeatureHow>All functions are grouped into several menu items that are symbolized by a colored icon.</FeatureHow>

Text after ReplaceAll:
<FeatureHow>All functions are grouped into several menu items that are by a colored icatureHow>

The two words that should have been replaced with the spell check are:
- symbolized to symbolised
- colored to coloured

We have Stylus Studio Professional 2007, Build 735e, which was purchased (I am told) in the last few weeks. It would have been purchased by our Technical Director, Richard Freedman.

I'd be grateful for your feedback.

Thank you
Sharon

PS: Have just upgraded software to version 735f, and problem is still there...

Thanks very much for the fast response.

When you have an idea of how long this will take to fix, I'd be grateful for an update. Our XML editors receive a fair number of files each month for processing from an external source and the text needs to be "anglicised", so having to do each replacement one by one is rather time consuming for them.

Looking forward to a fix soon !

Sharon
