Midas WangSubject: Use a user-defined adapter as built-in adapter
Author: Midas Wang

I want to use a user-defined adapter in the way as a built-in adapter. That's to say without having to include the full .conv file path, just using a adapter name.

Thanks,
Midas

Midas

If you need to express a relative path for the .conv file you can use

adapter:./myconv.conv

If you rather want to invoke a user defined conversion programmatically you can use the following function

public Converter newConvertToXML(StreamSource conversion)

Where StreamSource can be initialize to any java stream containing .conv file

See the Javadoc at
http://www.stylusstudio.com/docs/v2007/javadoc/com/stylusstudio/converter/ConverterFactory.html#newConvertToXML(javax.xml.transform.stream.StreamSource)

Hope this helps.
