Hello.
This is rather odd, the installer finishes the instalation, creates the desktop shortcut, but when i double click the icon it does start.
I have jdk1.5.0_09 installed correctly, paths ok.
What's seems to be the problem?

Nothing has come up wrong in the Event Viewer too.

Does anyone have an idea of what maybe wrong.
I would say nothing, just because it installs with no problems.

That's the manifest file for the .NET, it affects only the invocation of .NET specific features.

Which IE version are you running?
Is IE working properly in your system?

I'm not using IE, only Firefox.
IE (ver. 6.0.2900.2180.xpsp_sp2_gdr.050301-1519) is still working, but i don't use it.
