Glenn MeadowsSubject: XSL to HTML and PDF
Author: Glenn Meadows

Hi folks,

If I create an XSL file using the WYSIWYG editor and associate an XML file to it using the Scenario dialog, how can I automatically create an HTML file on the fly.

Doing it manually, I can click the Preview Text button in the preview window and then click the Export Button and save the file as HTML.

I am an XML newbie and I am also a new SS user running SS Enterprise 2007 on Windows XP SP2. Do I need to write code to do the conversion?
If I attempt to view the result using the XSL file in my browser, I
only see the XSL code.

Also, I need to create PDF files on the fly. Is there a way to have
SS do this for me automatically?

Thanks,
- Glenn

Hi again,

I should have also mentioned that I have created the PDF file
manually by opening an XML report and compiling the report using
XSLT 2.0 and XSL:FO.

Hi again folks,

Please excuse my initial post. I have found a solution for converting xml to html in the forum's archives.

It also seems there is a way to convert to a PDF using the XSL:FO editor.

Again, I will be certain to dig in the archives before making such
posts.

Thanks,
- Glenn
