I have a element called category set minocurs=0 and maxocurs=3. When I use XLST I receive all values in the Xml document. Here is the XSLT code I am using. Any help would be appreciated.

Need to see the rest of your xslt. Looks like your for-each loop is in the wrong place. I advise you to use templates instead.

eg.
<xsl:template match="a:category">
<xsl:copy>
<xsl:value-of select="."/>
</xsl:copy>
</xsl:template match>
