Stylus Studio Release 3 - 653c is crashing in following scenario:

1-File->New->Convert to XML
2-Select following file (.txt) and press Ok.
3-Go to second line and click on 'Start New Resion Here', Press Ok.
4-Go to first line and enter '1' in Properties Pane->Region Type->Row to Ignore.
5-Press Preview Result

BOOM

Maybe it doesn't like Bill Clinton and Albert Einstein in a same file.

#Ignore the first line and take field names from second line.
Id, FirstName, LastName, Phone
1, John, Smith, 555-1111
2, Bill, Clinton, 555-2222
3, Albert, Einstein, 555-3333

Regards,

Homer

We'll fix that.

The problem is that you created a one-line region and then told
it to skip the one line - and the UI doesn't like the zero-length
region that resulted.

In your case, you should either just use one region and tell it to
skip one row, or use two regions and tell Stylus Studio to ignore
rows starting with '#'.

We're going to fix this by not letting you skip all of the rows in
a region.

Thanks Tony (though I prefer Error Message than Crash)

How can I ignore records starting with '#'?

Would you please ask someone to reply to my DB question (posted couple of days ago as you directed me) as well?

Thanks, Homer

Use the region-level property 'Comment line' and set it to '#'.
Or change the default pattern for the region to have a regular
expression that excludes only lines starting with #
