Neal WaltersSubject: Fixing odd data
Author: Neal Walters

What about a clean-up for data copied from the Visual Studio command/immediate window? It has all the escape characters in it.

? strNewFileContents
"\r\n\t\t<ConstituentProcessRequest xmlns:xsd=\"http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema\" xmlns:xsi=\"http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance\" SchemaVersion=\"1\" xmlns=\"http://schemas.compassion.com/constituent/processrequest/2005-10-01\">\r\n\t\t\t<TimeZone>6</TimeZone>" etc...

Another idea - lot's of time we copy/paste xml from a web screen, and for some reason it's hard to get the cursor lined up exactly, so often we copy over something like this:

=<book>..100 of lines of data..</book> x = 1234

It would be cool if you could hit the "Indent XML Tags" button, and it would ask you if you wanted to "lop off" the extraneous text at the beginning and end.

Thanks,
Neal Walters
