Could you give a little more information? Are you planning on using
XSLT? And, if so, which XSLT engine?

In order to generate entities in your output, you will need to have an
extra step, since serializers by default won't generate entities.

If you were using an XSLT 2 engine, you could use the xsl:character-map
to accomplish this, along with a DTD which would define the entities.

If you are using XSLT 1 or some other engine, you will have to write your
own code to take the output from the processor and create the specific
entities you require.

Thank you for your reply. I am using XSLT 2.0 and Saxon. I have tried those with character-map syntax. But, I am getting all prefix '&' of entity as '&' in the output.

try there, or the xsl-list that is maintained by Mulberry.
