Brad GronekSubject: Problem Editing XML Documents - Bug?

I am using the trial version of the Home Edition and ran into a problem while editing an XML document directly. It seems that the xml editor is always in text Overwrite mode (as indicated by OVR in the lower right hand corner of the status bar). I have tried to turn it off using my keyboard, then tested OVR in my word processor to verify that my keyboard and the ability to switch the OVR mode works.

There doesn't seem to be a way to get OVR turned off at all in your app. Just to stress, I have tested my "Insert" key using other text editors with no problem, so it seems that Home Edition is not reading the setting properly from the OS.

Otherwise, this is a great product and I expect to purchase it soon.

Thanks,

Brad Gronek

Hi Brad

I am not able to replicate the behavior.

Which Stylus Studio build are you running (help->about)?

Which operative system?

Thank You

This must be a 'feature' in my keyboard. After your response, I re-tested on a different computer and did not have the issue. Thanks for your attentiveness.

Brad
