Jim MeltonSubject: Really annoying characteristic of Stylus Studio

I am a very happy user of Stylus Studio 6 R3. Or, at least I am except when I'm sitting on an airplane trying to get some work done. When I'm on a plane, Stylus Studio is not able to connect to the web to confirm that my key is really an approved key, and I get an annoying reminder roughly every 60 seconds telling me about that inability to confirm my key.

I don't recall this happening on my previous version of Stylus Studio (version 5, can't recall which release); it seems to be new to version 6.

Is there anything that I can do that will tell Stylus Studio that my key is really valid, so it doesn't have to interrupt my work every minute with a reminder that it can't get to the web?

Sigh...
Jim

I'm assuming you are running a time-limited version of Stylus Studio. Trial versions need to access the license server in order to validate their state; full (paid) keys don't need to be able to contact the license once activated.

Also, make sure you are running the latest 6r3 build (http://www.stylusstudio.com/update/ent-63.html) as older builds did require connectivity also for full (paid) activation keys.
