Ranjan KoiralaSubject: Preview XSLT with Java Code
Author: Ranjan Koirala

Hi all,

I am trying to preview the result of an XSLT where I have also defined the Java code within. When I run it, get the following exception message.

--This is the namespace entry for valuelookup in header of the XSLT

xmlns:MappingUtil="java:com.sca.util.MappingUtil"

--- This is how I have called this namespace inside the XSLT,

<xsl:value-of select="MappingUtil:getDate(string($format1))"/>T<xsl:value-of select="MappingUtil:getDate(string($format2))"/>

But when I click on the Preview Result, I get the message as attached.

my classpath looks like this,

C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.5.0_03\lib;C:\ranjan\Ranjan\wallaby\XI_Test\Progressive\From_Joy\Java_Mapping_program\aii_mt_rt.jar;C:\ranjan\Ranjan\wallaby\XI_Test\Progressive\From_Joy\Java_Mapping_program\aii_map_api.jar;C:\ranjan\Ranjan\wallaby\XI_Test\PEL- Progressive\Origional\com\sca\util

--

Because not been able to conduct the test in Stylus Studio, when I have the java code, have to import the code in the middleware system (SAP XI) and do the test. Its very time consuming.
Can somebody please suggest what could be the problem.

Thank you.

Warm Regards,
Ranjan

Hi Ranjan,

Which Stylus Studio version are you running?

Is the classpath mentioned your system enviroment variable value?

Under Tools->Options->General->Java Virtual Machine
do you have in the Classpath field the value ${classpath}?

Worth to mention that with Stylus Studio 6.x you can also configure the classpath at project level.

Hope this helps
